"Advancing Research Through the Lenses of Sex and Gender with Rigorous Methods and Reproducibility" Online
Speaker: Cecile Delille Lahiri MD, MSc,
Associate Professor
Emory University School of Medicine
Division of Infectious Diseases
NIH expects that sex as a biological variable (and, when relevant, gender) will be factored into research designs, analyses, and reporting in vertebrate animal and human studies. Consideration of sex and/or gender may be critical in the interpretation, validation, and generalizability of research findings. This presentation will give an overview of how to incorporate sex and/or gender into research studies to optimize rigor and reproducibility.
