Description
The Music Den is a partnership between Emory Arts and Emory Musician’s Network that provides free access to music gear in addition to providing open access to practice space. Any and all students and music groups can book a session for rehearsals and concerts alike.
Resources
Amps, two PA speakers, an acoustic guitar, an upright piano, a drumset with sticks, Cajon, misc. cables and other accessories. Equipment is owned by the Emory Musician’s Network, but is available to all.

NOTE: Access the building from Patterson Green / Goizueta Business School side
- Continue forward to main hallway and turn LEFT
- Continue until you see a stairwell across from elevator
- Go down the stairwell and continue to your RIGHT, or take elevator to Lower Level and continue LEFT
- Follow the hallway past dance dressing rooms until you see Room 132

Reservation Policies
The Music Lab is available to reserve daily between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. Reservations can be made up to five minutes before the scheduled event.
Reservations are in increments of one hour. Students may make up to four 1-hour reservations in a day, either consecutively or at separate times throughout the day.
To Reserve:
- Select your desired date at the "Go to Date" calendar button below
- Must be between 30 and 3 days in advance
- Choose the start time by selecting any green 30-minute time slot
- Select end time in the dropdown menu in the grey box below the availability grid
- The daily maximum is 4 hours
- To start over or select another time, click the trashcan icon on the right side of the grey box
- Click "Submit Times"
Directions
The Music Den is located in Schwartz Center for Performing Arts on the basement level in room 132. Your scan card will give you access. Do NOT remove any equipment from the Music Den. Return all items to their proper spot when finished, or you may lose access to using the Music Den. Reach out to Emory Arts assistant director Maggie Beker (mbeker2@emory.edu) to report any issues or concerns with the space.
