Welcome to the Hugh F. MacMillan Law Library Seats reservation process. This reservation provides access to individual study seats and table spaces within the library, and on the 2nd floor provides access to general use computer workstations, copying, scanning, and printing, as well as study aid checkouts. On-site access is restricted to Emory law students who have completed all of the Fall 2020 Onboarding steps. Please verify that you have completed all the steps before continuing.
- Reservations must be made at least 4 hours in advance to allow for staff to verify your eligibility to be on campus.
- Reservations can be made up to 4 days in advance.
- Currently reservations are limited to 5 hours per day, per student. Students may make a 2 hour reservation on the 2nd floor of the library and an additional 3 hour reservation on the 3rd floor of the library in our Granger Hansell room.
PLEASE NOTE THAT EACH LEVEL IN THE LIBRARY HAS A SEPARATE ENTRANCE. Level 2 seats can be accessed by visiting the 2nd floor library entrance, and Level 3 seats can be accessed by visiting our new entrance on the 3rd floor of the law school.
Remember, you must have a reservation, your Emory ID card, and a mask to enter the law library. If you do not have all 3 of these things, you will not be allowed into the library.
